Elaine Storkey is an English philosopher, sociologist, and theologian. She has held academic posts at Oxford University, University of Stirling, Open University and King’s College. But Elaine’s lecturing experience goes beyond the UK: Haiti, India and Ethiopia are some of the countries she has visited. Elaine is also a well-known regular columnist for the Church Times, the Independent, and a frequent broadcaster for the BBC. As a prominent feminist evangelical, her writings have brought a biblical perspective to Feminism, like her most recent book: ‘Women in a Patriarchal World: Twenty-five Empowering Stories from the Bible.’

We welcome Elaine to the team, and we look forward to working alongside her in the upcoming projects of an exceptional year, as we approach the 160th Anniversary celebrations.
