The aim of SERVE Nazareth is to grow our interns into mighty men and women of God.
All prospective interns should be devoted followers of Christ who are over age 18. They should have a desire to SERVE abroad and a servant heart.
The SERVE Nazareth Associate programme is for devoted Christians beyond college age, who have hearts for service. It is preferred that applicants have previous cross cultural ministry experience, but it is not essential.
With our internship, associate and group opportunities, we have something for everyone!
Our internship is available three times each year, during the summer (June to August), winter (January to March) and autumn (September to November).
Associates can choose their time from 1 - 6 months, year round and groups should contact us for booking availability.
Internship applications close 2 months before arrival in Nazareth, so on 25th March, 1 November and 1 July.
Associate applications must also be submitted at least 2 months before the intended arrival.
Groups need to send in their applications at least 3 months before their intended arrival. Early applications are always welcome!
If you have any questions to ask please contact SERVE Nazareth Administration at serve@nazarethtrust.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
Your schedule is based around 2 placements, each for two days per week. In addition to this, we have chapel services and assign each volunteer to a church placement one evening a week.
The last day is spent in teaching and spiritual development for our volunteers, pouring into them as they give out to others in service.
You can see a sample schedule by clicking on the picture above.
You will live on the Nazareth Hospital campus. Our apartments are split for male and female participants, and are spacious with common rooms available.
The Hospital is a few minutes walk from the town centre of Nazareth and the historic old city. You will soon become integrated into the local culture as part of your SERVE Nazareth experience!
